Why We Built This Site
Florida keeps most jail and inmate information public, but the hard part is never the law. It is knowing which office holds the person. The sheriff runs the local jail for people who are mostly waiting on their cases. The state corrections department runs a separate locator for sentenced prisoners. Federal and immigration detainees turn up in still other systems. We built this site to gather those rosters, locators, contacts, visitation rules, and request steps into one place, with a focus on Holmes County and Bonifay.
The county is small and rural, and the sheriff does not publish an online jail roster, so the everyday answer is a phone call or a records request. We try to explain that plainly, in the order a real search actually happens.
What You Will Find Here
The pages are organized around the questions people actually ask after an arrest.
- Help with inmate lookups through jail inmate records, jail roster mugshots, and court records after a jail arrest.
- A page for each detention facility in Holmes County, with address, phone, and visitation details.
- Step-by-step help for the county jail channels and the statewide inmate locator.
- How to request a booking record or photo, and the fee and turnaround to expect.
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to any Florida sheriff's office, jail, court, or the state corrections department, and it is not a government agency of any kind.
- We cannot release, hold, or transfer anyone in custody.
- We cannot post bond, set up a visit, or send money for you.
- We cannot give legal advice.
- We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or address stays current.
Only the sheriff's office or the state corrections department can confirm current custody, charges, or release. This site can point you to the right roster, but the official answer always comes from them.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes run by third-party providers that set their own prices and rules. When one of those tools leads to a paid signup, the site may earn a referral fee, which is what keeps it free to use. We do not control how those tools price their service or what their results return, and using them is always optional.
